Dawn (Stroud) Sherban, age 49, died unexpectedly at her residence on August 25, 2010. Dawn Diane Stroud was born on August 4, 1961 at Madison to Glen and Sharyn (Kohlwey) Stroud. She married Daniel Sherban at Madison on June 26, 1993. She is survived by her husband - Dan of Madison, four sons - Seth, Christian, Isaiah and Curtis Tnennis all of Madison. One brother - Chuck (Kim) of Sioux Falls and two sisters - Gwen Stroud of Madison and Sandy (Ali) Jendi of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister - Valerie. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at St Thomas Aquinas Church with Rev Robert Vinslauski officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery at Carthage, SD. She grew up in Madison graduating from Madison High School in 1979. She attended Dakota State University and the University of South Dakota. They lived in the Parkston area from 1993 to 1997 when they moved back to Madison. She worked as a cook at the Cocktail Lounge, Moonlight Supper Club, Elks and the Madison Country Club. There will be a parish scripture service at 7:00 PM on Friday at the Weiland Funeral Chapel which is in charge of the arrangements.
