Evelyn Bulfer

Evelyn Bulfer, age 91, died at Roseau, MN after a lengthy illness. Evelyn May DeMary was born on March 3, 1919 at Englewood, CO to Henry and Alice (Chittick) DeMary. She married William Bulfer at on December 23, 1940 in Delta, CO. He preceded her in death in 1995. She is survived by three sons - Bill (Connie) of Meced, CA, Jim of Madison and Dan (Becky) of Pinedale, WY. Two daughters - Susan (Dennis) Koch of Marquette, MI and Patti Hasbritt of Roseau. 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother and son-in-law- Jim Hasbritt. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, August 16, 2010 at St Thomas Aquinas Church in Madison with Rev Robert Vinslauski officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. She grew up in Englewood graduating from Englewood High School. She received her bachelors degree from Northern Colorado University in Greeley and a masters degree from South Dakota State University. She taught physical education and was a guidance councelor at Madison High School for 17 years. She was member of St Thomas Aquinas Church, SDEA, and SD Retired Teachers. There will be parish scripture service at 5:00 PM on Sunday at Weiland Funeral Chapel which is in charge of the arrangements.
