Benjamin Bundy, age 20, died at Avera McKennan Hospital of complications of a brain aneurism on February 17, 2010. Benjamin Aaron Bundy was born on August 26, 1989 at Madison, SD to Keith and Peggy Bundy. He graduated from Madison High School in 2008. He played football and was chosen for the SD High School All-star Game and participated in the “Down Under Bowl” in Australia. He also participated in Little League and Teener baseball. He was a member of Madison Boy Scout Troop 5 where he earned his Eagle Scout Award in 2007. He was Homecoming King in 2007. He was also active in the youth group at the Church of the Nazarene. He was currently attending Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, MN where he was majoring in environmental science and playing football. He is survived by his parents - Keith and Peggy Bundy of Madison. Three brothers - Lewis ( Fiancee- Megan) of Madison, Jon of Sioux Falls and Joe of Wayne, NE. and the love of his life - Laura Niedert. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 21, 2010 at Dakota Prairie Playhouse with Rev Tim Traxell officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. The family will be present at 1:00 PM on Saturday at Living Hope Weslyen Church with a prayer service at 7:00 PM The family requests that memorials be directed to the Ben Bundy Scholarship fund, Madison High School Foundation.
