Alice McGillivray, age 77, died at her residence at Prairie View Apartments on January 31, 2010. Alice Mary McNeil was born on July 8, 1932 at Madison, SD to Percy and Mary (Frager) McNeil. She married William McGillivary on November 7, 1949 at Pipestone, MN. He preceded her in death in 1991. She is survived by two sons - Daniel (Jeanette) of Madison and Charles (Monica) of Junius, SD. One daughter - Maribeth (Merlon) Lebahn of Dell Rapids, SD. Six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. One brother - Donald McNeil of Madison. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at St Thomas Aquinas Church with Rev Robert Vinslauski officiating. Burial will be in Winfred Cemetery. She grew up in Madison graduating from Beadle High School. She worked as a Physical Therapist for Dr SJ Christensen for many years. She was a Past Vice Regent for the St Thomas Catholic Daughters of America. There will be a Parish Scripture Service to be followed by a Catholic Daughter Rosary at 7:00 PM on Tuesday at the Weiland Funeral Chapel which is in charge of the arrangements.
