Esther Weber, age 94, died at Bethel Lutheran Nursing Home on March 23, 2009. Esther Mae Engelson was born on January 4, 1915 at Salem, SD to Ennis and Anna (Teske) Engelson. She married Ivan Weber at Sioux Falls on January 7, 1935. He died in 1997. She is survived by two sons - Robert “Stub” (Doris Lemme) of Watertown and Scott (Alison) of Madison. One daughter - Cleone Pfister of Bettendorf, IA. Seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother - Raymond. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 27.2009 at St John Lutheran Church with Rev Daryl Schubert officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. She grew up on Orland Township graduating from Orland High School. Along with her husband they built and ran Sinclair Oil and Gas in Madison. She also sold Avon Products and worked at the Madison Public Library from 1971 until 1997. She was a member of St John W.E.L.C.A. The family will be present at 7:00 PM on Thursday at the Weiland Funeral Chapel which is in charge of the arrangements.
