Adeline Pederson, age 91, died at the Madison Community Hospital on March 6, 2009. Adeline Alice Dahl was born on January 24, 1918 at Jasper, MN to Andrew and Emma (Peters) Dahl. She married Clarence Pederson on February 7, 1937 at Sherman, SD. He preceded her in death in 1995. She is survived by a grandson - Jarret Lee of Madison. One sister - Anna Schmidt of Brandon, SD and a son-in-law - Glenn Lee also of Madison and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter - Delores Lee in 1995, four brothers, two sisters and a grandson. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at Weiland Funeral Chapel with Rev Daryl Schubert officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Sioux Falls. She grew up and attended school in Sherman. She worked as a LPN at McKennan Hospital and Dow Rummel Village n Sioux Falls. She moved to Madison in 2003 and has been a resident of Golden Living Center since 2005. She was a member of East Side Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. Visitation will begin one hour before services on Wednesday at the Weiland Funeral Chapel which is in charge of the arrangements.
