Anne Pagel, age 69, died unexpectedly at her residence of natural causes. Anne Marie Mohr was born on September 11, 1939 at Madison to William and Petra (Haugh) Mohr. She married Melvin Pagel at Madison in 1961. She is survived by two daughters - Deb Keaton of Madison and Sandy Lujan of Brookings. six grandchildren and one great grandson. Two brothers - Bob Mohr of Wentworth and Bill Mohr of Rapid City. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter - Pamela, one sister and a special friend - Henry VanVooren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at Weiland Funeral Chapel with Rev Verlyn Hanson officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. She grew up in Madison and lived in Madison her entire life. She worked as a waitress and bartentender at various establishments including F&M Cafe and Uncle Eds. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary. Visitation will begin one hour before services at the Weiland Funeral Chapel which is in charge of the arrangements.
