David Watz

David Watz, age 57, died unexpectedly at his residence of natural causes. He was born on March 12, 1951 at Lapeer, MI to Bernard and Rosemarie (Nelson) Watz. He graduated from Lapeer High School and entered the US Army where he served in Vietnam. After the service he worked at General Motors and did contruction. He moved to South Dakota in 1998. He is survived by one son - Jeremy of Edmond, OK. one grandson - Dillion. His mother - Rosemarie Neff of Caro, MI, one brother - Douglas of San Leon , TX and one sister - Bernadine Hewett of Madison, SD. One half sister - Ronda Sealey of North Beach, MI and a half brother - Roger Romine of Detroit, MI. He was preceded in death by his father, a brother - Dan and a son - Justin. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at the River of Life Christian Fellowship Church in Madison with Dan Harwell and Jeff Rueter officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Graceland Cemetery. Weiland Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
