Corey Kasuske, age 39, died at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls after a lengthy illness with cancer. He was born on June 18, 1968 at Milbank, SD to Dennis and Joyce (Noeldner) Kasuske. He married Nancy Frost at Milbank on June 13, 1992. He is survived by his wife - Nancy of Madison, a son - Carter and a daughter - Kyla both at home. His mother - Joyce Kasuske of Milbank and his father - Dennis of Corona, SD. One sister - Kari DeSchepper of Denison, IA. He was preceded in death by a brother - Kipp. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, February 21. 2008 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev Len Halvorson officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. He grew up in Milbank where he graduated from high school in 1986. He received his degree in electrical engineering from SDSU in 1990 and a profession electrical engineer license in 1994. He worked for Black Hills Power and Light in Rapid City until 1997 when they moved to Madison to work at Sioux Valley Energy. He also farmed in Lake County. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. He shot trap, played on the East River Volleyball team and coached little league baseball, basketball and football. The family will be present at 7:30 pm on Wednesday at the Weiland Funeral Chapel which is in charge of the arrangements.
