Fred W. Pike, age 65, died unexpectedly at his residence at Fischer’s Point on Lake Madison. He was born on June 17, 1941 at Yankton, SD to William and Clare (Roswell) Pike. He married Sharon Mitchell at Wagner, SD on June 3, 1966. He is survived by his wife - Sharon of Lake Madison. One son - Shane of Omaha, NE and two daughters - Lisa Pike of Omaha and Gwen Pike of Sioux Falls one grandson - Gunner. One brother - David (Linda) of Farmington, NM and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister in infancy. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 25, 2007 at the Weiland Funeral Chapel with Rev Bruce Iverson officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. He grew up in Lesterville, SD graduating from Scotland High School in 1959. He was an auto body repairman in Sioux Falls working the last 20 years at Vern Eide. They lived in Sioux Falls until moving to Lake Madison in 1998. He was an avid hunter. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am on Thursday with the family present at 7:00 PM at the Weiland Funeral Chapel
