Allie M. Becker, age 94, formerly of Oldham, SD, died at her residence in Custer, SD after a lengthy illness. Allie Mae Snedeker was born on July 27, 2912 at Esmond, SD to Clyde and Mae (Pierson) Snedeker. She married Edward Becker at Oldham, SD on November 26, 1935. He preceded her in death in 1978. She is survived by two sons - Ed (Kay) of Oldham and Tom (Patty Howard) of Rapid City. Four daughters - Frances (Bob) Rusher of Carthage, Betty (Wayne) Potas of Meeteetsee, WY and Jennie (Dan) Dooley and Pat Petrizzo both of Pringle, SD. eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. One sister - Betty Bak of Canon, CO. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a daughter-in-law - Colleen Beck and son-in-law - Jack Petrizzo, seven brothers, three sisters and a daughter - Mary in infancy. She grew up and lived in Carthage, SD until she was married when they moved to farm near Oldham. They farmed there until his death in 1978 when she moved into Oldham and then to Custer where she lived for over twenty years. Funeral Mass will be held on at 10:30 am Saturday, February 3, 2007 at St Catherine Catholic Church in Oldham, SD with Rev Cathol Gallagher officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. There will be Rosary at 7:00 PM on Friday at the Weiland Funeral Chapel which is in charge of the arrangements.
