Bill Webb

William “Bill” Webb, age 70, died at his home after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was born at Madison, SD on February 24, 1936 to Clinton and Ethel (Baker) Webb. He married Gloria Anderson at Madison on December 31, 1957. He is survived by his wife - Gloria of Colman, one son - Travis of Sioux Falls and one daughter - Dawn (Vic) Wiebe of Rowena, SD. five grand daughters. One sister - LeAnn Huggins of Grapevine, TX and one brother - Richard Zwart of Lakeland, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at Colman Lutheran Church with Rev Sue Wolf officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. He grew up in Madison where he attended Madison High School. He served in the US Army stationed in Germany from 1954 to 1957. He worked at East River, John Morrell, and retired after 25 years at T & R Electric. He was a member of the Madison Elks Lodge, Duck Unlimited and a charter member of the North American Hunting Association. The family will be present at 7:30 pm on Monday at the Weiland Funeral Chapel which is in charge of the arrangements.
