Carol Shore, age 59, died at Sioux Valley Hospital after a lengthy illness with cancer. Carol Lynn Kirkeby was born on Oct 5, 1946 at Madison SD to Leonard and Mable (Ronk) Kirkeby. She was married to Dan Sievert and they had two son Kirk and Mark. She married Sidney Shore on May 12, 1982 at Lake Tahoe, NV. She is survived by her husband- Sidney of Madison and two sons - Kirk Sievert of Pahrump, NV and Mark (Kim) Sievert of Aurora, CO and two brothers - Lee (Doris) Kirkeby of Dell Rapids, SD and Jim (Marlene) Kirkeby of Brandon, SD. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, August 26, 2006 at the Weiland Funeral Chapel with Rev Terry Knudson officiating. Inurnment will follow at Lake Park Cemetery, Rutland, SD. She grew up in Madison graduating from Madison High School in 1964. She worked as a legal secretary in California and in 1982 she moved to Aurora, CO where she worked for Frontier Airlines. In 1994, they moved to Madison where she was employed at PAMIDA. Memorials may be directed to the Lake Park Cemetery Association.
