Brent Jacobson, age 46, died at Sioux Valley Hospital on Aug 16, 2006. He was born at Madison, SD on December 19, 1959. He married Mary Halverson at Madison on May 24, 1979. He is survived by two sons - Christopher of Owattona, MN and Beau of Omaha, NE and one daughter - Deidre Jacobson of Sauk Centre, MN one grandson - Izak. His parents - Marlyn and Beverly Jacobson of Sioux Falls and one brother - Steven of Sioux Falls. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday August 21, 2006 at the Weiland Funeral Chapel in Madison with Rev Terry Knudson officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. He grew up in Madison where graduated from high school in 1979. After graduation he worked at Gehl Manufacturing in Madison and attended Dakota State University where he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Information Systems and Business Administration. He moved to Owatonna, MN where he worked for Federated Insurance and was chairman of the Steele County Fair Barbecue Committee. In 2004, he moved to Pierre where he worked as a systems program administrator in the Bureau of Information and Telecommunications. He enjoyed bowling, golf and cooking. The family will be present at 5:00 pm on Sunday at the Weiland Funeral Chapel which is in charge of the arrangements.
