Doris M Vreyens, age 84, died at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls on May 9, 2006 Doris Marie Hagen was born on June 9, 1921 at Madison to Daniel and Clara (Norby) Hagen. She married Victor Vreyens on February 3, 1946 at Lincoln, NE. He preceded her in death in 1996. She is survived by two daughters - Jacqui (Eddie) Hartman of Sioux Falls. Jill Childress of Atlanta, GA and six grandchildren including special grand daughter, Misti and three great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. Memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm on Friday, May 12, 2006 at Weiland Funeral Chapel with Rev Bruce Iverson officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services. She was a life long resident of Madison graduating from Madison High School in 1939. She worked as Director of Equalization and Register of Deeds for Lake County. She enjoyed reading and dancing.
