Bob Reed, age 74, died at Beverly Health Care Center on February 1, 2006. He was born on May 29, 1931 at Mitchell, SD to Max and Helen (Moore) Reed. He married Deloris Reinicke at Madison on February 15, 1954. She preceded him in death in 2001. He is survived by three sons Greg (Deb) of Madison, Jeff (Rhonda) of Brookings and Bret (Monique) of Elk Point. One daughter - Diane (Don) Tounsley of Sioux Falls. 13 grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 4, at Weiland Funeral Chapel with Gayle Motley officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery with military honors by Madison American Legion. Music will be provided by Gary Randall. Casketbearers: Roger Johnson, Don Hanks, Dean, Curt and Gary Reinicke, Paul Hultgren and Todd McCluskey. Honorary Bearers: Grandchildren. He grew up in Mitchell graduating from Mitchell High School. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. After the war he worked on the early warning radar system in Alaska. In 1956 he worked for Norwestern Bell Telephone Company until his retirement in 1981. He raised and showed horses as was a member of many horse associations. He was also a member of the Madison American Legion. The family will be present at 7:00 pm on Friday at the Weiland Funeral Chapel.
